One of the reasons John Romita fit in so well with the superhero soap operas when he returned to Marvel in the mid-sixties was that he had been doing regular soap operas at DC for some time just prior to that. Here, for example, is Mary Robin, Registered Nurse, a character whose "adventures" Romita chronicled regularly for a period in YONG LOVE. He took all that experience at drawing pretty girls and made Gwen and MJ into real babes in SPIDER-MAN. This one is for Al B.
