Blackhawk-Reed Crandall-1948

Torn from today's headlines!! And yet 68 years ago!! Terrorists on US soil! Sleazy Congressmen! Racial profiling! This long MODERN COMICS tale of BLACKHAWK, at one time one of the most popular comic book series of them all, is quite entertaining in spite of the fact that the symbolic splash page actually gives away the killer's identity. Splendid art from Reed Crandall, one of several way above average BLACKHAWK artists, nearly all of whom were inked, as here, by the character's reported co-creator, Chuck Cuidera.
